After many years of campaign it was just a few weeks ago (this November 2009) that the Chief Minister of Rajasthan finally promised to stop all this illegal mining in Vraja. Thanks to the bold efforts of Sri Baba Ramesh Maharaji of Varsana and many brijbasis who are making sure that these destructive activities cannot continue. Yet it is helpful to keep as many people aware of how much destruction have been done in Vraja and which can continue again if we become passive.
