If you already know this please excuse. I was reading
Sri Visvanatha Cakravurti Thakura and He mentioned
that Kubja was a partial expansion of Satyabauma
and this was from the earth Prthviti. The essence of
the earth is fragrance and that was in the form of
devotion as Kubja gave Krsna and Balarama sandlewood
paste. Kubja's name was also Trivata which means bent
in 3 places and she was bent because of the earths
burdens from the impious kings. Then Krsna straightened her as He was unburdening the earth with
His appearance. The glories of Krsna's pastimes.
