We are running a gurukul for poor children in Bangalore. This year we shall provide free education, prasadam and medical help to about 40 children. Gurukul children in the past year have obtained excellent grades in the school.

This year total initial needs for admission fees and book work out to be $3000. If you can help with a small chunk of this money, we shall appreciate very much.

Nice that you got back to me . I really am glad to hear from you and to be in Srila Gurudev's family. This is a pretty strong feeling in me and appreciation seems to increase daily.

It's probably coz I live in Srila Gurudev's Hong Kong temple with Vaisnava Maharaj. We are only two from the west. The 35 local members are very dedicate and after working 10-12 hr jobs, many attend our evening HariKatha and prasadam 3-5 nights weekly.

We also receive about 6 preachers from 'round the world who come for one month. They'll spend a week or so here in Hong Kong while waiting for visa to China. Then they'll tour five places across the mainland spending a week in each, give hariKatha twice daily to the bright-faced & eager Chinese devotees who live in a country that allows no public display of religion. There's about 150 presently initiated there and the amount continues to grow...

As a member of the "SRI" Team, I help to coordinate the schedules on a yearly calendar. I do a number of other services like tend to the garden for Tulasi Devi and flowers for our Thakurji..., Sri Sri Radha Vinoda Bihari... also am pujari and kinna regulaly at my desk, so feel free to contact me when the mood arises.

Srila Gurudev gave his darshan in China just 3 weeks ago and continued on to Hawaii where he is now. Since April we have sent our best translator, Yamuna Didi with Syamarani Didi, Vasanti Didi & and Govinda Priya Didi who will complete their tour in couple days and fly to Canada after.

At the same time we also have Uttam Krsna Prabhu translating for Sripad Visnu Maharaj and Krsna Prem Prabhu.

When Syamarani didi's party returns, Yamuna Didi will commence translating for Sripad Vaisnava Maharaj so that'll leave me as the solo temple resident (althought other grhastha' live in the same complex).

I'm happy to share these little details of our wonderful community across the globe and hope Bhakti becomes near and dear to us as we keep growing in our service.
