Only Sri Krsna Caitanya Teachings and not Sri Aurobindo.

This is a response to those who are inviting me to join Sri Aurobindo Forum via Sanga Space. I am not interested. I have to follow what our acaryas teach. That's all. Forgiveness for any offences but i have to stick to the bhakti cult of Sri Gaurangadev.

My Dear Balmukundji,

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated the 6th instant, and noted the contents.
In my last letter I advised you that your Devanagari Lipi class should begin by chanting Hare Krsna Mantra, but if you find the time is short, then instead of reciting the Guru mantra quoted by you which is of impersonal mature, you can chant the following verse which we do along with others.
saksadharitvena samasta sastrair
uktas tatha bhavyata eva sadbhih
kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya
vande guroh sri caranaravindam **
The verse quoted by you is not approved by us.
Regarding your inquiry about Aurobindo, I may inform you that Aurobindo does not belong to the Bhakti school. He is more or less a dry philosopher, mental speculator, with some mystic ideas. We are simply concerned with pure devotees, so we have nothing to learn from Aurobindo.
One practical estimation of Aurobindo, I know that one of the important disciples of Aurobindo, Dilip Roy, tried his best to induce one English devotee, Professor Nixon, later on Krsnaprem, to become a disciple of Aurobindo, but Krsnaprem never agreed to this. On the contrary, Dilip Roy later on became influenced by Krsnaprem and he left Aurobindo asram and is now chanting Hare Krsna Mantra at Poona. So you can judge yourself what is my estimation of Aurobindo.
Your ever well-wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

My Dear Gurudasa,
Please accept my blessings.
With reference to your letter dated 14th May, I am surprised how you allowed Mr. Parikh to sit on the Vyasasana. You know that Vyasasana is meant for the representative of Vyasadeva, the Spiritual Master, but Mr. Parikh does not come in the Parampara to become the representative of Vyasa, neither he has any sound knowledge of Vaisnava principles. I understand from your letter that sometimes discussions on Aurobindo philosophy are done by Mr. Parikh from the Vyasasana, so I am a little surprised how did you allow like this. I think you should rectify immediately all these mistakes as stated by you in the last two lines of your letter, ``I think the best thing to do is stop his class. Nonsense ought not to be tolerated.''
Hope this will meet you in good health.
Your ever well-wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

Swiss Man (1): Have you been in connection with Aurobindo?
Yogesvara: Have we been in contact with Aurobindo, Sré Aurobindo?
Prabhupäda: Why? Why I shall be in contact, Aurobindo?
Swiss Man (1): Because he’s... We know in (indistinct).
Prabhupäda: He does not know better than Krsna. So one association is sufficient. There is no need of going this Aurobindo, Saurobindo. We never... Why should we waste our time? We have got sufficient education in Krsna consciousness. First of all let us finish these hundred books of four hundred pages. Then we shall see what Aurobindo writes. We don’t think anyone can speak better than Krsna.

Prabhupäda: I have got better instruction than Aurobindo. Why shall I go to Aurobindo, waste my time? People don’t know anything. Nobody has become a devotee of Krsna in reading Aurobindo’s literature. And here, as soon as they saw our literature, immediately police officer said, “Oh, you are so high.” Immediately. Where is the record, the professors and universities eager to purchase Aurobindo’s book and Vivekananda’s books? There is no record. But here they are eager “All sixty books, please, sir.” “All twelve books, please, sir.”

Please do so prabhu-ji. The better prepared we are in identifying this disease in its many forms, the easier it is for us to treat it.

Very true. Mayavadi has taken shelter in most New Age Teachings. By accepting Krsna Consciousness it a direct declaration of war against mayavadi and illusion. This is paraphrasing Srila Prabhupadas words. Maybe i have to put up some blogs exposing mayavadi in its disguises.

Srila Prabhupada knew well the danger of the poisonous association of mayavadis.
