BHAGAVAT DAS RECEIVES SANNYAS FROM SRILA GURUDEVA

On Gour Purnima March 21st 2008 in Sridham Navadwip Dham I received Sannyas Mantra, the Gopibhava Mantra, from Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja Srila Gurudeva. The Following day on the Festival of Jagannatha Misra I received my Cloth, Dor Kaupin, and Danda from Srila Gurudeva. Srila Narayana Maharaja had made the danda and prepared the cloth for my Guru Maharaja, Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada's sannyas ceremony. Srila Narayana Maharaja also preformed the fire Yagna for Srila Prabhupada's Sannyas Inititation. So my receiving Sannyas from Srila Gurudeva was a great honor and a long hoped for dream fulfilled. Above I touch the Danda to the lotus feet of my Diksha Guru Srila Prabhupada and the lotus feet of my first Siksha Guru Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja

Above I offer my Satsang Dandavats to my Sannyas Guru

It is so strengthening for baby devotees like myself to see senior devotees like yourself staying strong for decades of continued devotional service. Srila Gurudeva ki jaya!
