Dandavat Pranams from Srila Gurudevas Garden Ashrama
Laaks and Laaks of Sashtang Dandavat Pranams in the dust at the lotus feet of all the past , present , and future Vaisnavas. All Glories to Sri Sri Guru-Gouranga-Gandavika-Giridhari-Radha-Vinoda-bihariji ki jaya ! Srila Gurudeva ki jaya !
We have a small temple on 94 acres of land , on the Tweed River , 6 minutes drive in a car [1 1/2 hours by bullock cart ]from Murwillumbah NSW Australia . Though a lot of Srila Gurudeva's disciples live in the area and come for festivals , programs , recreation , swimming , canoing ,hiking etc there are only currently 12 devotees actually residing on the property.
So there is plenty of room for more devotees and plenty of interesting ,mode of goodness engagements available for those not ready to chant 24houres . Some very rudimentary accommodation is available and there are plenty of nice spots in our forest area and timber for building .Tirtha Maharaja told us to give everyone a chance but being sane and enthusiastic about Bhakti are the only qualifiers we are adding .So any devotees irrespective of ashram , gender or age that would be magnanimous enough to give us their association please contact us.
Vegetables grow easily all year [no frosts] and we have a big stockpile of donated grain [rice , dhal , wheat etc] .We want to build a more substantial temple building , go on more Sri Hari Nama Sankirtana,go on more padayatra preaching tours with our bullock carts ,start a school and a healing center .We just need more enthusiastic and energetic manpower. Thats one angle.
On the other hand, we also wish mangala arati , bajans and classes were more full. The Saturday program { usually lead by Candramuki ] sometimes gets more than 50 devotees .But single digits for other daily programs .
