The Devotees' own Myspace ~ A Krsna Conscious Social Network ~ Connecting Devotees Around the World!

We planted some seeds some weeks ago. Sometime we keep the plants in the balcony sometime in the window. Here are some pictures.

Coriander.

Basilica

2 buckets with broccoli and red beats.
Herbs like coriander, lemon basilica, parsley and pizza herbs in big flower pots.

This green creature can easily become half an inch long and fat.
Sometime you see a butterfly who very determined come and land on a broccoli leaf for a fraction of a second. After some days or weeks you will see these guys and big missing parts on the leaves.

We are thinking of having some little garden around our house for growing herbs, leaves, beats and flowers.

Thanks Yashoda devi dasi. Actually it is bought in a shop. But it is growing and producing a lot leaves for offering to our Sri Sri Gaura Nitai. We have other basilicas that is comming from seeds. I have seeds for many different types if basilica. When we get our bigger house they may find their way into the soil.
Thanks for the relation with Tulsi. I had Tulsi before but one winter she left while I was in India.

I see basilica looks very nice!

And it reminds me that British used to call Tulasi devi with latin name OCIMUM SANCTUM L. - HOLY BASIL

My garden seems to be full of wild beasties just like the one in your photo. We bought some netting to cover our cauliflowers, cabbages and broccoli, but sometimes the white butterflies manage to find a way in. Take care.
