i am really interested in the kind of sankirtan i saw in bengal and orissa where the longevity and palatability of it is emphasised. i think about this alot, because i feel our sankirtan is not adequate. it should be a very engrossing pasttime, both for the players and listeners. it can be far more practised as in the dhambasis sampradays. i will post this blog in other places, too. does any one know what i mean? i think so, because prabhupad propagated it in iskcon quite a bit. and you find akh… Continue

it's official. it's gotten cooler in vrindavan.. so yall hurry on down for kaarttik you can sleep at nite without the panka running. and the sun doesn't always come out till later in the day and it still drops little bindus of rain. don't forget thakurani's special month. Continue

i want the special mercy of this thakurji and sri padmanabh goswami. then i will also get some special mercy from my gurudev. last nite i went there with vijay after gettin my clay mridanga tuned. nice kirtans. no suprise we saw sulata and janaki in the gulli outside. Continue

but that one is s*****, so just mind what i write here and on hi5 and myspace and... last nite i was up till 6 or 7 am.... and then i re awoke and went to jagu's house for a shower and who was sleeping on the sofa? Vijay. in the dark i kinda thought it was Sanatani, same skin color, same curly hair, earrings... but not a girl... any way i will go see him when he is rested up from his flight.

now that gurudev iz back in the house. mathura, vrindavan, govardhan, delhi, navadwip, rishikesh, jammu, amritsar..... al these places he blesses as he comes. Continue

okay better 2 jus keep my mouth shut!!! ha ha. it is so beautifull here.. the chill forest vibe really jumps out if you see it rite.. but proper sewage, rubbish and polution management would be oh so nice... less monkeys and crime... i am just praying for some practical seva. rite now the work being done on old madan mohan temple/dwadash aditya tila is nice and so is the kaliya daha work... but really s-s-s-l-l-l-o-o-o-o-o-w-w-w-w... but QUICK!!!
