Well tomorrow is Sri Rama Navami. It is the second most important festival in the Vaishnava calendar of events. I will be observing a fast until sunset then lets see what I can prepare for His pleasure. What will your plans be for this day?

Gaura Purnima was quiet. Nothing special just some simple prasad. I was alone performing the pujas.

The best way not to forget Ekadasi dates is to download the calendar and pin it at a place where you can easily see it. Or just highlight Ekadasi dates in your diary’s calendar section. You can download it from : http://www.vaisnavacalendar.info/calendars/. This site gives you the specific dates as per your city.

Are you injured prabhu? From what I read in your msg you needed an ice pack for your ear. But I thought you martial arts experts have a head gear which also cover your years. Your opponent must have given you a hard kick in the ear. How often do you practice? What about your family; where do they live?

With "Sri Hari - One but different" was the first time that I heard the Maha- Mantra. That became one of my favorite albums (that time i was 17). For some time I heard "Damodarastakam" every morning when I got up. I didn´t understand a word but could miracolously follow along after some time. Later I gathered also the remaining records of Mathuresh, but that first one always remained my favorite.
