About Me:: I graduated from college in 1970 with a BA, came to NY to join the poetry scene, met Ginsberg, Corso, and a few others. But I was disillusioned with the Beat Poetry scene and joined in NY where I was initiated by Srila BV Swami Prabhupada in 1972. I took siksa from Srila Bhakti Raksaka Sridhara Maharaja in 1980-1988 when I felt ISKCON was not following Prabhupada properly, then came to Srila BV Narayana Maharaja in 1990 influenced by my old NY buddy, Prana Kisora (Preraka) to collect for Sri Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Math. My main service with Prabhupada was traveling sankirtana and book distribution. With Srila Sridhara Mahraja, I edited Sri Guru and His Grace and served mainly in Greenwich, England for more than 5 years. With Srila Gurudeva, I have worked on editing on various books, helping found the Rays of the Harmonist along with Kaliya Damana under the inspiration of Srila Gurudeva. At present, Visnudaivata Maharaja and I are putting the final touch on Brhad Bhagavatamrta. By everyone's kind grace upon me, Gurudeva will be pleased. When I am in America, Badger is my home, in India, Nabadvipa and Vrndavana are my two loves. Thanks everyone for the good association these years with Gurudeva!

On Srila B.R. Sridhara (deva) Gosvami Maharaja

I have always thought it would help devotees to approach Srila Gurudeva in an easier way by also
reading the books of Srila Sridhara Maharaja.
There seems to be various opinions and camps on this.

One camp says, "We will get everything through Srila Gurudeva, no NEED to read Srila Sridhara Maharaja's books..."
Another camp says, "No time to read Srila Sridhara Maharaja's books. I have to first read all of Srila Gurudeva's books..."

The Art of Proofreading

This was seen on the Internet. It deals with the shortcomings of completely relying on a "spell checker" for our articles...or proofreading in general for that matter...

No problem about quoting other sources. I compared the birth of Jesus with
the birth of Krsna...quite amazing similarities. It makes you think that maybe
the source of the Bible stories was the Vedas...anyway, hope your health is well.
