Please kindly accept my humble obeisances! I am not really a grhasta .. I'm just bogus.. BUT I'm hoping one day to be the real deal by the never-ending flow of mercy coming from the mouth of Srila Gurudeva! Srila Gurudeva ki jaya!

1983 - Got my first book (SriBhag 1st Canto) on streets of Sydney. My mother told me to throw it, but I never did. Periodically was attracted to reading it but never got past any one page... it was all way over my head.

1987-1989 Studied college degree with Australian Air Force. Became interested in spiritual topics whilst studying 3rd yr Physics and hearing Einsteins quote.. "What the world needs is a unified theory of existence". That summer after grad, our vacation house was full of spiritual books from a tenant.. I read all summer!

1990 Resolved to leave Air Force for spiritual pursuits, very much against parents, partner, peers and friends wishes.. was on my own.

1991 Went to India. Saw Sai Baba.. there learned more of Krishna. On return I joined Sydney ISKCON. Became friends with Rafe... now Sripad BV Damodara Maharaja.

1993 Met Tapana Misra Prabhu who told me so much about his Gurudeva, Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja, and I became very attracted.

1994 Resolved to leave Sydney ISKCON as I realized they were in the business of making money, and they had cheated me of seeing Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja.

1996 Sripad Radhantha Prabhu (now BV Damodara) knocked on my door and told me all about Srila Gurudeva.. I was sold within minutes.

1997 Was so fortunate to receive harinama initiation by Srila Gurudeva in Murwillumbah Festival.

1998 Was even more fortunate to receive diksa initiation (along with Gaurasundara Prabhu) in Hawaii. Pundarika Prabhu chanted at the yajna.. it was cool!

1999 Got my college teaching diploma so I could teach in Gurukula.

2000-2003 Was most fortunate to live 'on-site' in Badger, which was very nice. Taught in Badger Gurukula

2003-2006 Moved to Visalia and worked in Real Estate

2007-Present Developed Sanga Space then moved to Fresno to work in Apple Store.

Jai Shri Radhe... I wanted to check with you that are we allowed to send any kind of request through a blog, for example, a friend of mine is in trouble , her father expired last year n her mom is very old, she is now been harrased by her brother n his wife, because she is not married, she somehow has to get married and move out of the house, but her age is around 37 yrs so we are not able to find any devotee for her. Upon seeing her state this though came to my mind of asking all the devotees if they knew any one who is looking for a Indian girl for marriage. I know this must be sounding so stupid, but she is such a nice devotee, i cant see her weeping helplessly.... please advice , i dont want to use Sanga space for any imappropiate reasons... Thankyou and Jai Shri Radhe.....

I have been going to the festivals in India. I got to go on the American tour in 2005. I can't remember if I've seen you since 2005. I may have seen you in India since 2005 at one of the festivals. I'm not sure.
Gurudeva always says, "Be strong". The material world is tuff. Your humble in your profile section of your page. Krsna likes this. Please pray for me and I'll pray for you.

thanks for the congrats. yeah we did tie the knot, it was very sweet. garland exchange with Gurudeva and yagya with Vana maharaja. so many beautiful devotees made the event so auspicious for us. there was like tones of gurudeva people and iskcon people there, so it was nice to have both sides of the family.

anyways lots of love, keep up the good work on the site.... i havent been on much, i dont have internet, but soon enough!
