About Me:: Since birth (1993), I have had close association with devotees in both ISKON and Gaudiya Math (mainly in Murwillumbah). I was initiated by Srila Gurudeva in 1999. I also have a very strong attachment to Srila Prabhupada which I grew through his books, and after reading the biography of his life. Presently I'm dedicating alot of time to completing my education so that it will be possible for me too fulfill my aspiration of becoming a book distributor in the future.

The holy name of Krsna

The holy name of krishna cleanses the mirror of the heart and forever extinguishes the fire of misery, that great conflagration in the forest of birth and death.
As the evening lotus blooms in the moons cooling rays, the heart begins to blossom in the nectar of the name.
And at last the soul awakens to it's real inner treasure-a life of unconditional surrender for krishna's sweetest pleasure. Again and again tasting nectar, the soul dives and surfaces in the ever-increasing ocean of ecstatic joy.
All phases of the self we may conceive are fully satisfied, purified and at last conquered by the all-auspicious influence of the holy name of krishna.

This is a story from the 4th volume of Srila Prabhupada-lilamrta

One afternoon a renouned astroleger visited Prabhupada and offered to read his palm. "No," Prabhupada replied, "Iam finished with that. But you may read my disciples palms." The astroleger read the palms of the several devotees present, made his predictions, and then left. The devotees turned to Prabhupada, wondering what to make of it. "As soon as you clap your hands in front of the deities during arti," Prabhupada said, smiling "all the lines of your palm are changed."

Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says:

"I firmly believe that simply chanting the holy name of the lord can remove all misconceptions of the material world. I belive that simply by chanting the holy name of the lord one can attain shelter of the lotus feet of the lord. In this age of quarell and disagreement, the chanting of the holy names is the only way to liberation from the material clutches." (Srila prabhupada, purport of C.C 7.95-96)

You said you wanted to be a book distributor. I found this service the best! Preaching is so important, but for the person to receive a book, they will have something to refer to later. One devotee I know even has a stamp with her email number and phone number and name to make it even more personal she stamps it on the inside cover of the book so they can contact you with any questions.
