About Me:

At 17, I bought Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is. On my 18th birthday I joined ISKCON in New Vrndavana and was a member of the Radha Damodara traveling bus group until it disolved in '77. I left the association of devotees shortly after Srila Prabhupada's disappearance, and have been wandering aimlessly ever since. I have married and divorced, and currently raising my 2 teenage boys and caring for my invalid mother. In great need of devotee association.

i read yr comments and happy to read it.please use in normal english in yr sentence as possible because my english is weak .first i dandvant in prabhupad feet then all over world vaishnav devotees for yathoyogya.my mother srimati radharani and father sri krishn-chandra are very kind to all devotees who did sankalp in front of vaishnav smaj.

I am sorry I did not write you sooner but I have been busy on my preaching tour and writing my book and so many other things. My association with Srila Narayana Maharaja has rejuvenanted my spiritual life and helped me to come to where I am today. I would not be a sannaysi today if were not for his mercy. What an honor it was for me to take sannyas from the person who made the danda for my Srila Prahupada to take sannays and he also did the fire Yajna while Srila Prahupada received the danda from his dear God brother Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja who is Srila Narayana Maharaja's diksha Guru. I was there in 1977 when Srila Prabhupada was leaving us and Srila Narayana Maharaja used to come and talk with Srila Prabhupada. I watched as Srila Narayana Maharaja supervised all of the ceremoies for Srila Prahupada to be interred in the samadhi with such care love and affection. It was a a wonderful ceremony and I was lucky to get his glorius association to help me in my Spiritual Life. I have written some things in my blog space on my page here in sanga space if you go there and check them out you will find some wonderful information about Srila Narayana Maharaja that will help you to better understand why I chose him to guide me as a siksha Guru. Please read them and get back to me. I am going to be in the USA during the months of Late July and the whole of August and September. So I may be able to see you when I am traveling and preaching then. I look forward to hearing from and perhaps seeing you in the summer. I hope this meets you in the best of health and good bhajan.

Will you read now my postings about Navadvipa Dham? They are very beautiful descriptions of the Dham by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, who lived there most of his life. They will help your meditations until you can come yourself... They are very excellent. PLEASE read them. They are in My Sanga Space Box and in my 'Blog'....And if you feel like sending your comments....many readers will appreciate them also. ..

I've known many devotees who stayed and participated in different ecstatic K Conscious activities of Srila Prabhupada's temples, for a long time, or many years, but they lost the taste. If they remember, it is as a past affair only, or if they talk about it they don't transmit any taste or enthusiasm. (Very sad!) But you speak with so much appreciation...although it's almost 30-5 years ago, for you it's like it was yesterday. Same with Krsna. What is the difference of 30 days or 30 years for Krsna? Nothing! As long as we remeber Him, He will surely re-connect us with Him,through His messenger (the pure devotee!)

How amazing impressions are, that for you only a couple of days of the Radha Damodara TSKP bus staying in the temple you were living at was enough to want to follow it and be like them (those devotees). And then you only stayed in that party for one or two weeks, right?
Still, that experience left that sweet remembrance of Sankirtan and Preaching... And you're still remembering...with affection....(Continue..)..

I will try to summarize more now (in case of the electricity going off)The main point that impressed me in your letters is your impressions. Gurudev has pointed out many times the effect of the impressions. That's why we must very carefully select our association and be very careful with our senses. What if suddenly we look at a dog and it leaves a strong impression in our mind or heart (being of pity or anything.) In a dream or disease or at the time of death, if that impression comes back to our mind...what will happen? You already know.
