I most certainly agree with u that hearing is the foremost & topmost speciality one should have in krsna consciousness as it is clearly declear by all sastra including srila guru dev & all other spiritual masters.
Vedic sastra should be heard from the lips of a benified spiritual master thus only then would the nectar of this transidental knowledge be reveal to one.
