About Me:: Grateful for: the sheltering guidance of Maha-Bhagavatas and any association of like-minded, more advanced and affectionate devotees. I Love being part of a broad Vaisnava community, and am grateful for a fine Vaisnava family. A husband who loves Gurudeva and what He is giving; A mother who serves Vaisnavas and a sister who always brings my mind to Krsna's things. I am a work in progress..

Been doing Bikram-yoga & weight-circuit for keeping fit

Way Background:
Began temple life after meeting Srila Prabhupada in LA in 1976.. Looking back, its a rich tapestry of experiences.. some bright, some dark, but altogether rich. Some impressions..

Chanting.. japa, reciting Brahma Samhita verses; doing Harinama Sankirtan in downtown Seattle, WA all afternoon nearly every day for a year; Mangala Arati with many friends every morning; Feasts, new guests' impressions; Krsna book essays; Plays; Odissi Dance - Dasa Avatar - performing at SF & LA Rathayatras; Navigating around Power.. ;- )
Fasting; Sewing seva, Making garlands; Cooking the Raja-bhoga (noon offering); Srimad Bhagavatam; Srila Prabhupada.

That guiding dream where SP's murti came to life and said: "Don't think I have left. I am still here in these books." After directing someone to read from Krsna Book and another to serve hot milk to everyone while all were absorbed in this highly soothing nerve tonic, his murti returned to its formerly apparent state.

1983: Became aware of Srila Bhakti Raksaka Sridhara Maharaj, who refreshed my Krsna consciousness to keep me moving on the path. Suddenly Srila Prabhupada's vani enters my heart ever deeper by this connection with another of Srimati Radhika's own. Received Diksa from Him in '86.

SP went to nitya-lila in 77; SBRSM in 88 and Srila Bhakti Pramoda Puri Maharaj (who had granted us audience a few times)..in '99.

A living service connection with His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja is my great treasure now (and since 1995 when sister Madhavi introduced me to Him and He became my beloved Siksa Gurudeva. Association with devotees practicing saranagati under Him is a most wonderful gift because that association re-aligns me with the aim and object of my life (the attainment of Sri Krsna Prema).
