Almost 20 years, since 1990; lived in Laguna, CA near Laguna ISKCON temple and went for Sunday feasts with kids after a day at the beach; my jyotish guru, Patraka das (www.robertkoch.com) is a senior Prabhupad disciple; he got me chanting and reading Prabhupad's books in late 97 and helped me to remember my relationship with Radha-Krsna; I later married a senior Prabhupad disciple, Jagatkarta das; I did not hear about Srila Gurudeva until 2005; received Srila Gurudeva's merciful harinam and diksha summer of 2007 in New Vraja; daughter Gopali dasi received harinam too. When visiting LA and SD I go to those temples as well, esp for festivals and darshan

I also love prasadarian cooking (see youtube on prasadarian) and flower gardening-arranging for Them, prasad distribution, book distribution, devotional arts, spiritual jyotish, holistic health practitioner-healer; hospice; 4 years of prison ministry 88-92; will try to get book distribution and bhaktiart going in prisons too.

This spirit soul is feeling so much mercy from Radha-Krsna, Srila Prabhupad, Srila Gurudev and the Vaisnavan community! To have found Krsna Consciousness this life during this crazy kali-yuga is such mercy! WIth Their love and support I hope to someday make gradual progress to Their Lotus Feet and to be a first class devotee so that I can serve my beloved Srila Gurudev and the Vaisnavan-Guru Parampara mission! Jaya Radhe, Jaya Krsna! Jaya Prabhupad, Jaya Gurudeva!

This ego-structure-personality I ride in is shy, quiet, reserved, gentle, and idealistic. This life I was raised Catholic during youth, and had 16 years of excellent Catholic education that really helped with discipline and personalistic spirituality-devotional practices. Early adult years were spent primarily alone as a single mother (x-husband traveled most the time), but now I am married to a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupad. I had two children before I remembered I was a devotee. Two grandsons. A few family members' jyotish charts imply that they may become devotees, so that is special-nice! My 18 year old daughter Gopali dasi was initiated the same day as me in Badger, CA at the 2007 festival!

I am the oldest of ten children, was raised in wealthy WASC family in Southern California (several counties) most my life, but have also lived in Europe, coastal pine rain forest in So Oregon on the Rogue River, the Central Coast of CA, Napa Valley, Tahoe-Feather River area of Plumas County and the Arkansas Ozarks. I feel blessed to have lived in these beautiful places in material nature. I have the jyotish chart of a cosmic-earth mother, healer, artist, psychologist-mystic and teacher-priestess-brahman. I am married to a kind and gentle devotee hillbilly-husband, Jagatkarta das, who has a VERY green thumb and is also good at construction, cooking. He has also worked replanting forests after logging in many US states. He lives pretty sustainibly in an 1850 oak log cabin on five acres in deciduous hickery-oak forest at the border of N AR and S MO on Bull Shoals Lake. He tries to organically grow as much food as the weather, rocks and bugs allow. Property is almost "off-grid" and we may put it up for sale soon.. We extend our growing season with passive solar sunroom and greenhouse. (We are hoping to help the devotee and non-devotee communities learn some of the tricks to living more sustainably, especially with the eco-yoga yahoo group with BV Nemi Maharaja.) We hope to add wind generator and solar water pump soon. Solar panels are in the upcoming vision too. At this time we are not yet considering cows, but there are several ranches nearby with cows. We are open to renting some of our land to "compatable" cooperative hardworking gentle friendly devotees who would like to join us short-term or long-term in our gardening-farming and devotional life. I also hope to help with the sisters-women's group and possibly with Syamarani's art distribution.
