About Me:

Many times during Srila Gurudeva,s visits to Murwillumbah [Australia] , Srila Gurudeva ordered the assembled devotees to establish a temple , school and medical center and sometimes Srila Gurudeva also mentioned a single womens ashrama . On a couple of occasions Srila Gurudeva has stated that he wanted Murwillumbah to be His main center in the west [ though apparently Srila Gurudeva has said that else ware also ].

Though feeling ourselves unqualified , we are striving to execute Srila Gurudeva,s orders on 94 beautiful acres of land within sight , and 6 minutes drive , from Murwillumbah. We have a temporary temple [ renovated shed ] big enough for programs of 50 although only 12 devotees live here at present .

It is an exceptionally beautiful property bounded by the picturest Tweed river on our east [ flowing north ] and a large rock bluff [nature reserve ] to our west that looks like a lion [the old name was lion rock ] The vastu is really good and there are many rudraksha trees [the entrance goes between two very tall ones ] and fruit trees etc

At present the only unoccupied accommodation is very basic , but we do want more serious devotees to come and give us their association . Sripad Tirtha Maharaja [who began using the term Garden Ashram untill Srila Gurudeva comes and gives us an official name ] told us we should invite every one to come and just build simple dwellings in the forest . He said give every one a chance [ but being resonably sane does help ] . If it sounds interesting please correspond .

If it was just us at home, then yeah, we would have the cupboards full of chips and chocolate, but because our deity's are installed I do have the responsibility to cook for them! Were missing the programs there...haribol : )
