My name is Devarsirat das and I received Harinam initiation by Srila Prabhupada in 1976 in Germany, and spend many years there distributing books, then travelled for a long time in India and distributed Srila Prabhupadas books there as well as in the UK, Sweden, Danmark, Japan and Hong Kong and even in Moscow for one day in between flights on the Red Square.

I have been a professional Hypno-Therapist for the last 7 years and have created several Cds, for healing, cancer ( on the advice of BV Nemi Maharaja) , pain-relief,and so on, which I can offer to devotees for wholesale to earn additional laksmi or for very much reduced prices for personal use. My partners name is Sumitra dd, she got Harinam initiation by Srila Gurudeva during the last festival in Holland 2 years ago and diksa in Germany 2007.

Then there are my two lovely children, Anjali "Pushpanjali dd" and Hari "Hari Sudama das", both have harinam initiation by Srila Gurudeva. Anjali is manageress at a red cross shop and Hari composes music and plays in a band.

I have read your letter with interest and although I am strictly within the confines of the material energy I will say this much:
Due to the mind's conditioning we think materially.
The conditioning has been going on for a very long and time and thus we misidentify with matter[our body and environs]. With sufficient realization of our true identity and proper detachment we can see that we are not the doer and that all is effected by the three modes , which are like three ghosts living in the body.
The best example is the car in your driveway. If you take your Mercedes down the Autobaun and feel the effects of being sleek, speedy, responsive in the turns, quick in acceleration, sensitive in braking and so on, then we are totally absorbed in identifying with the car. Then when miss the turn and fly off the freeway we are hurtling down a cliff just waiting for the wheels to hit turf and bring us to safety. All in all it is a false experience, since we are just passengers in the auto. In the same way we are passengers in the body. Due to false ego we think we are German or American, white, male , smart, etc. etc.
Verily we must transcend this situation to really see what is happening here. 'Nistraigunya bhavarjun!'

Thank you for sending me this message. I think the person who uploaded this is indeed acting like a "barkingdog." I think you were also there in Holland when Srila Gurudeva spoke this. He was pointing out that his followers who edited his writings have changed his words or that they themselves would have to reconcile conflicting statements in sastra which do not claim that anyone is inherently ineligable for bhakti because of birth. Gurudeva was pointing out the Vedic conclusion and he also pointed out that the sanskrit words in the Gita verse are mistranslated. He has also strongly defended Srila Prabhupada and has stated that he could never say anything wrong. Rather the "barkingdog" who uploaded this wonderful video has made a slanderous and calamitous for his future lives kind of mistake by insuating that Gurudeva has blasphemed Prabhupada. These kinds of barkings are simply those of asslike minded kanisthas who are obsessed with sectarianism.
I wouldn't flag it at all. But you could comment for the record. I've seen where some commentators will even mention the time frames in the video where a particular statement is made to make their point.
I hope this finds you well Prabhuji. I'm in China where we are having wonderful classes on the 24 gurus mentioned in the 11th Canto. Thank you for remembering me.

I am eternally in your debt for your kindness, especially for having posted Srila Gurudeva's books on the internet 10 years ago or more (The Temple Of Understanding), where I first discovered Gurudeva. I'm hoping to come to Italy this year if I can get the fare together and will be so happy to have your association again. We would be so happy if you were to visit Hong Kong again some day and stay with us here on holiday. The devotees here are very sweet and would be glad to meet you.

Leider war ich noch nicht so weit die Zeit auf Schloß Rettershof, wäre ich aber gerne, denn habe sehr viel gehört darüber. Ja ich komme auch aus Niedersachsen aus dem Raum Gifhorn, Celle. Habe deine Vyasasanas angeschaut bei Ebay, mir würde einer interessieren mit einen Murti von Srila Prabhupada, aber hast sicherlich nicht. Trotzdem danke und wünsche dir noch viel Erfolg bei dein Laxmi sammeln für Italien.
