Sri Guru tells me that I am an eternal servant of Krsna and thus I should be engaged in His service. But where is Krsna and where am I? How can I serve Him? Is Krsna in the material world? No, Krsna is in the spiritual world, in the spiritual world Krsna is the only enjoyer. The jīva can never be the enjoyer. Gurudeva says, "Whatever you find in this world is all paraphernalia for Krsna's enjoyment, not for your enjoyment." In Krsna's abode there is abundance of enjoyment. Just as we want to be free from the clutches of māyā, Bhagavan, the Supreme Lord Krsna, also wants to take us out of māyā's clutches and engage us in His service. Krsna is the only enjoyer and His desire for enjoyment is unlimited, thus He wants to enjoy by taking everyone into His domain. We are tiny jīvas. We have no capacity to enjoy, because the jīva is not the enjoyer. We have only developed this purușa abhimāna, the thought that I will enjoy and enjoy. It is only our misconception, because the jīva has no capacity to enjoy to enjoy. Krsna has unlimited capacity to enjoy in unlimitedly different ways, and the jīva is to be enjoyed, upabhogyam. Krsna is there in His abode, Vaikuntha-rājya, the spiritual world, and we are here in the sakuntha-jagat, the miserable material world. How then can we serve Him? Krsna has made a trick for us, and that trick is Srila Gurudeva. Krsna has sent Srila Gurudeva to this material world to spread here Krsna 's samsara, His household or family. It is Krsna 's desire that His samsara be manifest in this world. All sadhus and mahājanas are gurus, so Krsna has sent them to manifest His samsara. So in this material world gurudeva has opened Krsna samsara. The Supreme Lord has not said, "You go and make your own samsara." Rather, Krsna has said, "Go there and do my samsara." So by Krsna's desire gurudeva has come here and open Krsna's samsara. Krsna is his eternal master, nitya-svāmī. Gurudeva has completely surrendered and dedicated his life, kāya, mana, vākya -body, mind and words, to Krsna. That is gurudeva. Those who take shelter at the lotus feet of such a Sri Guru, he takes them and makes them enter into Krsna's samsara. Gurudeva says, "I am doing Krsna's samsara, giving everything for the enjoyment of Krsna. You please come and enter into Krsna's samsara, then you will be free from the clutches of māyā. You will be free from all material sufferings."

Dandavat Pranams Damodara Maharaja. Please accept my humble obeisances.
We have an offering:
Through four years of severe austerities and distribution of the Holy Name via our records and stage performances from coast to coast, Whisper and I have found that the inhabitants of Ithaca, New York are thirsty for the sri Krishna Sankirtan. So much so, that after two years of finishing our tour here, we had been invited to host a regular kirtan at the Ahimsa Yoga studio, invited again to commence the program over the winter this third year. After three years, have been blessed with a beautiful house that we offer as an ashram to Srila Gurudeva, the deity of lord Chaitanya and the Radha-Syamasudara stone.
Our consistency has attracted a third aspiring Vaishnava, named Buffalo-Turtle-Snowflake Jim who has begged me to read the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is to Him. During the Third chapter we were blessed with a house to care for the deities and maintain a regular sadhana-bhakti yoga program in.
This acquisition was not an easy task but rather than maintain a false sense of proprietorship, Whisper, Jim and I would like to offer this ashrama to srila Gurudeva and his Vaishnavas as a sanctuary and outpost for the teachings of srila Gurudeva and the Vaishnava Acharyas.
You can consider this an invitation to come and discipline us, for we are merely chanting fools with no real knowledge of Chaitanya Chritamrita or Srimad Bhagavatam. We chant from the fire set in my heart by young Dwarakadisha Das Kamhout and Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda and are requesting bhjana siksa and training in the Vaishnava way.
We will maintain this ashram to the best standards as shown to me by Jagad Guru's disciples and pray for visits from his and srila Gurudeva's messengers.
Please consider our four years of distance from any Vaishnava community, how we long for Vaishnava association and and how difficult it is to maintain integrity in the separation from sri Guru and his disciples.
Dandavats pranamas!
I love your profile picture. That is the real life of a sannyas.
By the way I have a question about the "Origen of Ratha yatra" it is written in page 172 the following statement of Srila Guruedeva:
“You will be successful in your spiritual life if you develop positive understanding and moods. It will not be enough just to think, “Not this, not this, not this”. Absorption in the positive must be accompanied by negation; otherwise you cannot advance. This is true; but still, absorption in negative will not help you very much. If one wants to advance in Bhakti, he should try to understand theses topics."
Could you explain what should be understood by it will not be enough just to think, “Not this, not this, not this”. Absorption in the positive must be accompanied by negation?
Thank you very much. Nitai Gouranga!
