I myself get transformed by a little chanting even, with the thought, well if it does invite krishna....I'm not going to try hard and perfect it!..or go for long. I'm a very poor example of regular or marathon chanting. But because I am so often disturbed, it's easy for me to find a cue to chant spontaneously. Perhaps there is a danger of inconstancy and so on, but then I am so wary of bad influences (materialistic, slave-like, demonic, illuminati, New-world Order bad manners, Latest scientific theories) I don't think so. I am maturing. Perhaps I'll wind up with a powerful daily practise if I build a little dear alter to gaze at. I would like one room to be a kind of temple in my place. I recently thought of building a little tiny alter, and I sure will. I have no ritual for it - doesn't matter.

I do get a lot out of daily readings.
I don't try to get distracted, or maybe I do, but I do try to recall krihsna and so Krishna consciousness can come...more of a dispassionate view of things anyway. I certainly am burdened by the forces of evil or irresponsibility, and this slave like society, where the basics are just not up for grabs without joining lock-stock and barrel.

You see I have two small children and have to stick around for them, nodifficult choice though. Anyway, they love to hear me talk about Krishna, Spiritual world, Goblins in Power, and they beleive I am often fighting goblins (kind of demons for them). It makes me laugh. You see, they expect their father to be all-powerful, and can't understand limitations of land and so on for building houses. They do comprehend money a bit and limitations and earning it. And I have told them about land ownership and slavery.
