"Krsna's name and Krsna's pastimes -- the hearing of Krsna's pastimes -- are not mortal. There is so much difference between mortal world and transcendental world -- so much. These songs of transcendental words in the form of Hari-katha or Krsna's Name are so auspicious. If a man has a little honor -- very little -- though he is covered with so much anartha -- ignorance and anarthas -- but if he has a little honor, these transcendental vibrations will come through the ears to the devotee's heart. These are not words in the common sense -- Krsna Himself comes. How? His transcendental world comes into the heart of any person who has some slight fraction of sraddha (faith). What is the effect of this realization? He cleans the whole heart, makes it pure and then his sraddha (faith) becomes thickened and then Bhakti (devotion) comes to his heart and he becomes a devotee. All bad habits go away, all anarthas flee. Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in the first verse of Shikshashtaka, has glorified the chanting of the Holy Name `Sree Krishna'. `Sree' means beauty. What is beauty of Krishna? Beauty is the potency attribute of Krishna. The attribute of a thing is it's beauty. That complete potency of Krishna in concrete form is called `Aradhika' or briefly, `Radhika'. Sree Krishna is the predominating aspect of the moiety. As such Sree Krishna means Radha-Krishna. You are to chant the Holy Name Radha-Krishna. Knowing the significance of Mahamantra, by chanting— `Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare', you can get sevenfold principal attainments— all attainments. First attainment is, "Ceto Dharpana Märjanam"— cleansing of the mind which is compared with mirror. Sankirtan means to chant correctly and completely. There are three meanings of Sankirtan — (1) to chant Holy Name without tenfold offences (2) to chant completely—Name, Form, Attributes, Associates and Pastimes (3) to chant loudly and collectively the Holy Name in the association of Shudha Bhaktas.

Thank you. This picture is in Nitaban Forest in Vrndavan during evening harikata. We had very much harikatha and visited so many places in Navadwipa, Puri, and Vrndavan. I liked all and especially Vrndavan although the monkeys are very naughty and attacked me on Govardhana parikrama.
I look forward to coming back to Australia soon.
