the hardest two weeks of my life
Many find the holidays as a time to share with their family and really spend quality time. That wasnt the case for me. I did spend time with people close to me and it was nice. They really opened their hearts to me. But after i got back to brooklyn it seemed like everything crashed down on me. We are running a gurukula for poor children in Bangalore. This gurukula provides the free English medium education for 20 children. The children have been admitted in Jyoti Vidyalaya, a near-by school. Ashrama paid about Rs. 50,000 ($1200 USD) as the donation and fees for the gurukulis. The children are very intelligent and sharp. They are influencing their classmates by telling them not to eat meat, fish and eggs. They also distribute the mantra cards.
A lot more boys are interested in joining Srila Gurudeva’s ashrama. If we receive some additional funds, we shall be able to accommodate many more devotees in this gurukula and give them first class education. The children are our future. Today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens. They shall lead the Gaudiya Matha activities and preach vigorously.
We are planning to expand our activities soon. We also desire to build a new school. Ashrama is in the process of acquiring some more land a little away from the existing ashrama, where we want to start an ashrama for ladies and girls.
Bangalore ashrama needs an LCD projector for showing the movies and other preaching material in towns and villages around Bangalore. This type of outreach program shall definitely attract a lot more people and children to our ashrama and gurukula.
Let join hands fulfilling the prophesy of Srila Gurudeva that Bangalore Ashrama shall have 1000 devotees staying in it. Srila Gurudeva wants that our ashrama should be like Vasista and Viswamitra Rsi’s ashrama.

i liked bhajans but alot of my visitors didnt
what to do? well i really wanted them to get spiritual realizations, i fully hoped they would raise their conciousness. they could become intelligent by listening to bhajans... about krsna but like i said they had no attraction to what they described as indian music
so by your mercy i threw some of your music on and a few of my visitors really liked it especially those who were in2 metal

i did not read your story before i sent you the message, but now let me explain better what i wanted to tell you with "to see Krishna in everybody"...
your "friends" are there exactly serving Krishna as every jivas... so Krishna want you out of Maya and they are acting with you this way you don't like.... so you now want to leave this life style and you are looking for Krishna.... but think little bit if they are very nice with you... you still now should be there enjoying Maya... because to leave Maya is very difficult... Maya is so tricky... everything looks like so good and sweet ... so thanks Lord that you quickly started to feel bad (you are thinking they are bad and nobody like you) but actually they are helping you in your spiritual evolution to come back to Krishna... so please every day you thanks Lord for the kind of people you have around and you will see how your association will change totally now ... you realize your love Krishna so nice devotees will come to you because Krishna will not let you be alone.... as i told you before ... we don't have to worry how we will find or meet devotees ... anything will happen like magic... and you will be very happy... so now you chant and smile and be very peaceful and don't think about what others are doing... let them do ... still they are not awake... better we send them little light for them to see the real purpose of life.
