About Me:: Am presently traveling with two brahmacharees in California. Have a couple cars and a load of books with a wide range of instruments and amplifiers. We go wherever there are crowds and distribute prasad and the holy name with books and CDs .
San Francisco is a great place to preach and the surrounding Bay Area.
We hope to be here for the summer in Haight Asbury and near Fisherman's Wharf.
In L.A. we frequent the Boardwalk in Venice and the Santa Monica Promenade as well as UCLA and USC.
In San Diego you will find us most likely in Balboa Park or at UCSD or SDSU.
Occasionally we head over to Santa Cruz for downtown kirtans and visit the college, UCSC.

Update:

We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to hold kirtan and discourses at the Rose Temple in Venice every Sunday at 1pm.
The last two programs were very well attended and included many of our old neighbors and new neighbors who were elated to see us back.
All who come are asked to bring a cooked or uncooked prep as we do not have access to the kitchen.

L.A. Preaching

For those who wish to travel and preach this area is great. It is Hollywood and Sublime. You can do it in public here anywhere you like. So, as long as you have wheels (NO ONE IN L.A. WALKS) we can work together on
infiltrating the consciousness of the movie-mad empire.
Our cell contact is 310-594-9407. We travel between Santa Barbara and San Diego and can go to Las Vegas and Tuscon, or Phoenix, but the gas prices keep us away for now.

That day a traveling preacher from a sahajya community in Hawaii instigated a great deceit when I was in Sydney for book-training from Srimad Buddhimanta Prabhu. That devotee told the temporary President that there was no need for any external symbols for a Vaishnav. He also said that devotion should be purely spontaneous without any strict formulas. As a result of his talks our Temple which was attracting many guests did a nose dive. All regulations were scrapped and all the dress and marks removed. Finally a plan was hatched to travel on motorcycles and preach all over Australia. The plan did not eventuate, and the then leader of the Temple went off and married. The only one we managed to save was Gopinath Acharya who then got some intimate association with Buddhi Manta Das who trained him how to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books profusely.
We closed the Temple rather than try and start up again. I went to Melbourne and there
after a stern lecture by Madhudvisha Maharaja I was then shown a letter from Srila Prabhupada asking that three devotees be sent to Fiji to open a new center. Having need for a new engagement I eagerly volunteered and then spent several years with Sajjansraya and others preaching all over Fiji.
