About Me:

I first met Srila Gurudeva at the airport in 2000 after downloading and reading many of his books and listening to lectures on the internet. I was inspired to see him after reading "Going Beyond Vaikuntha" which had been given to me by a devotee during my summer holiday (sic!) in Vrindavan Dham one year before.
I have studied comparative religion at Frankfurt University and in my free time I´m playing and writing rock music with my band.

The first time I saw Gurudeva - on MTV!

This is Part 2 of the the MTV documentary "Kula Shaker: The Same But Different" which aired in Germany in 1999 I think. I wasn´t a devotee at that time and I had never heard of Gurudeva before, but mysteriously I recorded the show on video tape and watched it over and over again. How cool that you could go on morningwalks with Srila Gurudeva. It must have been magic. Did Heike also get the chance to meet Srila Gurudeva again?

Didi Srila Gurudeva speak about anything or did you have the chance to ask anything? I'm glad you had that time with him. I'll always remember the morning walks I've had with Gurudeva - they made me remember Srila Prabhupada and how his disciples walked with him too.
