About Me:: Initiated in Kona, Hawaii January 2007. My life has never been the same after a devotee of Srila Prabhupada's handed me a Bhagavad Gita & told me about Krsna. I heard a song about Govinda & I was stunned by the beauty of the holy name. When I saw a picture of Govinda I was unable to take my eyes away from the beautiful, unusual art & was again stunned when I was told the picture was the same Govinda. I read Bhagavad Gita & was rendered somewhat catatonic for a couple of weeks. Everything seemed to shift underneath me, my entire perception of this world & my beliefs. How could I have not known such a beauteous book existed? I shudder to think of what my life would have been like without this introduction to truth. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Twelve years later Nimai Das brought me to my spiritual master, Srila Narayana Maharaj. The magnitude of having a spiritual master is unfolding. I realize that I am extremely fortunate to have met Srila Narayana Maharaj & that he is my beloved gurudev. I pray that I will not waste time in pursuing spiritual life & that I may be his worthy servant.
