Krsna is God, but actually we should forget that He's god. All His power is in His holy names, and if we chant these holy names we can very easily achive to our nature, love. Our nature, our dharma is to love. Krsna is love, love is Krsna. Krsna is the talent in our heart, Krsna is the object of that love that everybody needs to give. But we actually don't know Him, we just know that Krsna is god, and this means many things. The only way to know and understand something about Krsna is to ask to whom has pure love and affection for Him, and i dont have it.

To mother Yasoda he is her charming beautiful boy. To the cowherd boys Krishna is there very dear friend, and to the Gopies Krishna is there life and soul. Love is found in the hearts of pure devotees, and because they love Krishna fully they love one and all, seeing Krishna in the heart of everyone.
Personally I am a fallen conditioned soul, revolving in repeated birth and death suffering the three fold miseries. But I do feel fortunate to have come to the lotus feet of my Gurudeva who is unlimitedly merciful. One analogy the sadhus use is that Krishna consciousness is like a sugar doll no matter what you taste of it, it is all sweet.
