About Me:

I'm a beginner level student of bhakti I have an aspirational interest in what Mahaprabhu came to give-raganuga sadhana, Vraja prema, and Radha dasya. I'm also interested in hearing and discussing Hari katha and studying the Goswami granthas but more often than not, everything seems to go in one ear and out the other so my only recourse is to chant the Holy Name as much as I can

Formerly I was a grhasta and now that Destiny has taken a hand in the poker game of my life,, I just wander here and there aimlesly, chanting Hare Krsna and Radhe Radhe Radhe, Jai Jai Jai Sri Radhe, like a restless child.

I' like to pratice Taoist yoga circulation of energy within the body for health and the Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation to keep the chakras firing on all cylinders.

I practice Nine Palms Kung Fu and spiral fitness with phi-chi sticks as taught by Rob Moses. www.phichisticks.com

I'm into two-wheel motoring and splashing around in the ocean.

Grew up in SW Detroit Michigan. Went to school at Wayne State U. '71 major in English Literature. I was an anti Vietnam War activist and otherwise shiftless no-count. :- )

Intrigued in my youth by such books as Walden,The Dharma Bums,The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood and Don Quijote, especially for the charachters who could live far from the maddening crowd yet still remain faithful to their own vision of Truth and Beauty.

1971 By the mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga, began chanting Hare Krsna

1975 Lived a few months in Mayapur, Puri, and Vrndavan where I was able to do parikrama in the presence of my Srila Prabhupad.

Lived in temples and devotee communities in Detroit, Chicago, Honolulu and Miami.

1998 Inspired by the books of Sri Adikesav Das (O.B.L. Kapoor such as The Saints of Bengal, amd The Saints of Vraja.

2000 Srila B.V. Narayana Maharaj Gurudeva came to Miami to inspie me.

2001 Received siksha from Srila B.V. Narayana Maharaj Guudeva.

2004 Received invaluable instructions from Srila B.V. Narayana Maharaj Gurudeva through correspondence.
