Kalalau reminds me alot of Rishekesh and the lower himalayas. I have been living austerely in the woods for three plus months, drinking straight from the stream, enchanted by the sound of His flute, which is omnipresent in the forest. Someone told me Kalalau means to wander, very similar to meaning of Vraj. There are many stones in Kalalau. The ancient Hawaiians organized these stones into a sacred temple space they call heiau. They did this by asking the stones to give up their weight to move them, much like Giri-goverdhan gave up weight to be lifted by Krishna to save all of Vraj mandala from the rainy wrath of Indra. Many similarities between Vraj and this magical land here on the island of Kauai. Want to celebrate Julan lila with me, Giri-Goverdhan and my beloved flute player in Kalalau this summer? blessings to you sweet sister, may Gurudeva shower his mercy upon you- Radhe Radhe!!!!!
