About Me:

Living in Amsterdam, came into contact with Krishna consciousness through my girlfriend who has been a devotee for over ten years.

This year (2009) i took Harinama initiation from Gurudeva at the Italian Vaisnava festival.

Sripad Hayesvara dasa has been a big inspiration for me through his books and i am currently involved in a translation project of Jaiva dharma together with Premalata devi dasi, Hayesvar's son Haridas and my girlfriend Indurekha devi dasi. We are translating it from English to Dutch.

During the Italian festival we were very fortunate to obtain Srila Gurudeva's blessing for the project.

Also, for the Sri Chaitanya Society, which was founded by Sripad Hayesvara dasa, I made a ning network site in the dutch language.
Part of the goal of this community is to promote the books Hayesvar wrote and to promote the translations he made of (for instance) the Bhagavad Gita. It is freely downloadable from the site. Each finished chapter of Jaiva Dharma will also appear on the site.

Any dutch or Belgian devotees are welcome and if you're from another country but you understand Dutch you are more than welcome also! The name of the community is listed below.

As you already know, we are running a Gurukul Ashrama for poor children in Bangalore. Currently we are building a nice kitchen so that we can cook efficiently for the Deities and serve that Mahaprasada to children. We give free education and food to 40 children and orphans. Srila Gurudeva will be visiting our farm in September 2nd week. We would like to complete the kitchen work before then. Can you please help us with a small donation to complete this work?
