In an ideal world I would love to grow vegetables and flowers for Krishna. I do it at home but struggle to balance my material life and the demands of it with following my heart...

About Me:

In 1976 I saw the Hare Krishnas at Reading festival and in my ignorance said "those Hare Krishnas are following me everywhere!"
Itravelled to India in 1982 and went to Vrindavan in a most fallen state. However, Krishna was merciful enough to manifest in the sound of someone chanting Mahamantra to the rhythm of the train...
I visited the Manor regularly from 1984 onwards but never took initiation. I never felt it was the place for me although I love the deities there. My three daughters always wanted to sit on the knee of Grandfather Prabhupada!
I also met a few devotees of Jayatirtha in Glastonbury, who told me their story.
I was fortunate enough to move to Wales where I met Jaggad Mohini and her family and Lalita, Malini and Karuna who inspired me to attend their kirtans and celebrations.
Iwrote to Gurudeva asking him a question and he advised me to learn from my association with His devotees and invited me to Germany.
I have a degree in Religious Studies from the University of Wales, Lampeter. I am interested in Contemporary Spirituality and the growth of the 'New Age' phenomena. I am also interested in Animism and shamanism as well as the 'psychology involved in being human'.
I met Srila Gurudeva for the first time in Germany. When I told him how long it had taken me to find him (25 years), offered him my heart and asked if he would accept me for initiation he mercifully replied "I must". What a blessing!
