Many people, myself included, have been rejected from other Vaisnava groups for one reason or another. Me because I was Muslim and African. Wasn't Haridasa Thakur(Muslim that is)? Isn't he the Namacharya? It still hurts, but Srila Gurudeva is so kind to not look at my birth or skin and accept me. I feel such a recharge of my devotional life now, it has given me new life.
