About Me:

i grew up in germany and moved to england when i was 18.
at 14 a friend introduced me to the band Shelter which is how i first heard about Krishna Consciousness.
curious about the philosophy, i took my family to the Krishna farm in Hungary whilst on holiday that same summer - and i was hooked!
i never once thought i could find someone quite like Srila Prabhupada - until i met Srila Gurudev in 2001.

I'm so happy to hear from you. Just back from Malaysia with Gurudeva yesterday. The festivalthere was excellent. One of the best I've ever been to. This was the first time I was with Gurudeva on his apppearance day and to glorify him directly to his face. The intimate moments when I was standing next to him and looking in his eyes while he looked back at me with so much affection are unforgettable. The site was perfect just 1 degree above the Equator and 28 every day on the beach, with a warm breeze blowing 24 hours a day. Back in HK now where its only 18!
I'm hoping to attend the festival in Italy if I can afford it or avoid a festival fee - last year all the sannyasis had to pay and many are hesitant to attend this time. I hope I can make it too. I'm very happy that your Paul wil be attending. He struck me as a very nice young man and am pleased you're together. I hope your relationship with him can continue with all love and affection and that he will be smitten by Gurudeva like the rest of us.
I haven't heard from Vasudeva in a few months it seems. I hope he's well - I'll write him now that I have internet again. I do hope I can see our little gang again. I am hoping to visit Europe anyway this July and August to encourage gay devotees to be more open and realize that all are accepted by the pure devotees and Gaura Nitai. I'm hoping to attend the gay pride parades in London and Amsterdam (04/07 and 02/08 respectively) as part of a sankirtan party. Hopefully devotees will come out for it.

na, wieder zurück im Land der Fish & Chips und Black Puddings? Wir hatten noch ne tolle Woche in Verbania, habs sogar hingekriegt, Sunandas Wohnung zu mieten. Am Freitag hab ich Madhava Maharaja am See getroffen und er meinte "Hey, ich hab auf dich gewartet. Wir haben letzte Woche aus Versehen Jagadishs Flasche mit Gurudevas Charanamrita ausgetrunken und jetzt wollte ich dir eine neue für ihn mitgeben." :-)
Am Mittag hat Srila Gurudeva dann Miekes Bruder angerufen und ihm Harinama gebeben. Mit meinem Handy! Unglaublich...
