Tulasi and Vrnda

I received this information from Brajanath just a few days ago. Perhaps most of you already knew this about Tulasi and Vrnda sakhis but I was uncertain about the distinction between them. I feel so fortunate to have someone like Srila Gurudeva who can answer all of these questions for me!

What Srila Gurudeva Told Me

“Srila Narayana Maharaja was once asked by one of his temple presidents whether or not gay devotees should be allowed to live in his centers. He replied that everyone was welcome to join his temples as long as they followed the rules and regulations. He added that Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada wanted all types of people to join Lord Caitanya’s movement, and this was also his desire.”

So good to see you here. Yes I was there. Wasn't that a great Ratha Yatra??!?!? One day I hope to meet you face to face Prabhuji. It was a very blissful event. Washington Square Park has never been the same since! It's a blessed place now. Cannot say how lucky I feel to have been in the presence of Prabhupada.
