guru is everything

Yes Gurudeva should be everything the disciple has, but unfortunatley many of us have anyabhilasa (other desires than to bring happiness to Guru).
What can we do about this?

Permalink Reply by visnujana das on January 26, 2009 at 6:22pm: Crying?.. is that what it is?:) Gurudeva said at one of the festivals in the US ( I believe it was Kona, HI, 2007): "At least be sincere!" He was saying that in the beginning a devotee might have many desires, but they themselves aren't really a big problem if the devotee is under the guidance and is sincere. Because the desires will be soon burnt to ashes by the mercy of Gurudeva and by the strength of Bhakti.; ▶ Reply to This
