The magic in chanting

My son has been reading Damodore's prayers twice daily with me. We did not make it to Vrindvan. However, these prayes hve worked their magic. He can't stop singin Mahamantra or creating new versions or sponaneously bursting into bajans he has only heard once. The beauty, the magic the power of these words! I remember reading somewhere in an old Harmonist it was said that not only should they be said at Kartik but every day!! Aren't we so blessed to have access to this!! Hari Bol!!
